It’s such a beautiful time… I love to take notice as nature reawakens with blossoms + buds and the sweet birds chirping with delight. The change of seasons is always a good reminder that we too need to flow along with the cycles in nature. Spring is the perfect time for shifting into living lighter.
The spring equinox has passed and it’s time to lighten up and do a bit of “Spring Cleaning” to help renew ourselves as well as our environment… so we can fully expand into our greatest potential.
Have you been feeling life to be a little (or a lot) heavy lately?
If so, it’s a good time to give yourself some more space to breathe + think about what to let go of so you too can blossom and begin living lighter.
When we allow things to fall away we make space for new experiences that will better serve who we are becoming.”
Change is always happening and although it can certainly be difficult, and at times uncomfortable… times of change bring growth that can renew our present awareness + bring forth more happiness within each moment.
I love Spring! It’s so refreshing, it’s like a weight can be lifted. The heavy warm blanket of winter is ready to be put away and we can use this time to:
- move more freely – get outside and move our bodies, take a walk in nature or do some yoga in the park.
- breathe a little deeper – take in the fresh air of spring and make time to sit in silence.
- dress lighter + brighter – soak up some morning sun and let color awaken our senses.
- eat fresher, cleaner + more vibrant foods – think gorgeous greens, juicy citrus and beautiful berries.
- set new intentions – identify what no longer feels right and journal about new desires and goals for spring.
It’s essential to reconsider our commitments and make space for ourselves to live lighter and welcome in more freedom, creativity and joy!”
We can truly refresh + renew our mind and body during this time… think Spring Renewal inside and out! Living lighter will definitely put a little more pep in your step, and I think we can all agree that is a very good thing! :)
Take it slow, be patient… things take time to shed and to grow. Give yourself space to say yes to new opportunity and no to what feels heavy or restrictive. Accept yourself where you are and know that your are continuously evolving. Expand into the beauty of Spring and let yourself flow with it!

What can I simplify?
What is my body craving? What can I do to feel lighter and brighter?
